NDBSWE decided to implement the Big Picture Board Management Software. They made this choice because they required a system that would allow licensees to do online renewals. Having a system that would allow online licensee renewal saves time by allowing a renewal candidate to login and use a credit card to renew their license. The online process of renewing requires board administrators to verify contact and renewal information before licenses are dispersed. This real-time system automatically keeps credentials and contact information data up-to-date.

Online interfaces to the database such as web site, communications and real-time verification components are easily implemented. NDBSWE choose an interface for employers to look up a Social Worker's licensure status. This minimizes a call to the board and allows information to be more accessible at all times.
