With support from a HRSA Bio-Terrorism Grant, Albertson Consulting will interface all North Dakota state medical boards with the Health Alert Network (HAN) this year. In case of a bio-terrorism event, this interface will alert all medical professionals of their supporting roles.

HAN is a strong national program, providing vital health information and the infrastructure to support the dissemination of that information at the state and local levels and beyond. A vast majority of state based HAN programs cover over 90% of their population. The HAN Messaging System currently directly and indirectly transmits Health Alerts, Advisories and Updates to over one million recipients.
